LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that full benefit can be taken from Turkish model in order to provide quality healthcare facilities in hospitals and for this purpose a delegation will soon visit Turkey.
The CM said that ensuring provision of quality treatment facilities to the people of the province was a government priority and all-out resources were being utilised for this purpose. He stated this while presiding over a meeting.
Addressing the meeting, the chief minister said Turkey had made its healthcare system active and vibrant during the last few years and experience of Turkey would be beneficial.
He said different reforms had been made for the improvement of healthcare system in Punjab. He said the friendly country of Turkey was also ready to extend cooperation for the betterment of healthcare system in Punjab.
Cooperation will be sought from everywhere for improving the healthcare system for ensuring provision of quality medical facilities to the people, he added.Shahbaz Sharif directed that members of the delegation going to Turkey should work hard during their visit and observe punctuality.
He said it was essential to make the visit useful and result-oriented for providing excellent treatment facilities to the people of the province and they would have to prove from their act that they were great ambassadors of the country. He said cooperation of health department of Turkey would be beneficial for the training of nurses and paramedical staff.
