Jennifer Aniston and Jim Curtis may be going strong.

However, their relationship has not been without its challenges.

According to a new report from Star Magazine, the couple's differing lifestyles have presented some growing pains, particularly as Curtis adjusts to Aniston’s global celebrity status.

Spilling insight into their romance, a source told the outlet that Curtis is finding it difficult to keep up with the realities of dating one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

"It’s a culture shock," the insider said of their contrasting worlds.

However, the source noted that Curtis has no intention of changing who he is just to fit in. 

“But Jim isn’t interested in turning into a piece of high-fashion arm candy just to keep up with Jen,” they added.

The insider further explained that while the pair care deeply for one another, compromise will be key moving forward.

According to the insider, “For Jen and Jim to work out in the long term, they’re going to have to find a middle ground between Jim’s low-key, thrift-store approach and Jen’s world, where she gets waited on hand and foot as a matter of habit.”

“For this to work, Jen is the one who has to change, and she knows it,” the source concluded.
