Paul Forman reacts to sudden death of 'Emily in Paris' co-star Pierre Deny
Pierre Deny passed away on Monday following a battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
Paul Forman is "heartbroken" over the sudden death of his Emily in Paris co-star Pierre Deny.
Taking to his Instagram handle on Wednesday, the 32-year-old actor paid a touching tribute to the late French star.
“Heartbroken to hear of the passing of Pierre Deny,” Paul penned along with a black and white photo of Pierre.
He further wrote, “It was a privilege to work alongside him and to witness his warmth and talent up close.”
“Thinking of his family and loved ones. Rest in peace," Paul added.
For those unversed, Pierre died on Monday following a battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). He was 69.
“It is with deep emotion that we announce the passing of Pierre Deny, which occurred this Monday following a sudden and severe case of ALS,” his daughters said in a statement shared with the Daily Mail.
It is pertinent to mention here that Paul plays Nicolas de Léon in Netflix’s series—the son of Pierre's character, Louis de Léon.
Meanwhile, Luce Mouchel also expressed his grief over the shocking death of Pierre, reflecting on a “short decade of shared life that should not have ended so quickly and so brutally.”
“I’m thinking of your daughters and their exceptional courage. Thinking of you, my last visit and your sparkling eyes, rest in peace," he added.
