House of Professionals inks pact with PMI Lahore to boost project management
KARACHI: The House of Professionals (HOP), Lahore, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Project Management Institute’s Lahore Chapter to promote modern project management practices and professional development in Pakistan.
According to a statement released on Friday, the agreement was signed by HOP President Ziaul Mustafa and PMI Lahore Chapter President Dr Khalid Ahmad Khan. It aims to expand training, mentorship, knowledge sharing and professional events. Under the arrangement, PMI will provide expertise and resources, while HOP will support hosting, participation and collaboration in programmes.
Representatives present at the signing included PMI officials Ambereen Haq, Ammara Shahzad, Zaka Awan and Faisal Ali, as well as HOP’s Usman Rafi and Naeem Alvi.
The partnership is expected to enhance project management capabilities across industries in Pakistan, aligning professionals with globally recognised standards and supporting organisational growth, the statement said.
