In these pressing times, the way we raise our children matters like never before for the future of our planet. Pakistan is already battling serious environmental issues. In the middle of this crisis, one important but largely ignored solution is green parenting. This means raising children to be environmentally responsible and conscious and connected to nature.
Sadly, in Pakistan, many parents are not aware of this approach. Teaching kids to save water, reuse items, grow plants in old containers or turn off extra lights costs nothing but has a long-lasting impact. I sincerely request media houses, educators, influencers and policymakers to launch campaigns promoting green parenting.
