Ray J, Kim Kardashian sex tape saga gets shocking twist after his lawyer's recent claims
Ray J's lawyer makes shocking claim in Kim Kardashian sex-tape release
Ray J recently revealed that he has got a major witness in his ongoing battle with his ex-Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner over the sex tape.
Howard King, the lawyer of the American R&B singer, songwriter, and actor, told TMZ that the legal team is preparing to summon Vivid Entertainment boss Steve Hirsch to testify if Kim and Kris keep denying their collaboration with Hirsch.
On March 10, 2026, the mother-daughter duo filed sworn declarations, repudiating that they did not plan the shoot, release, and sale of the sex tape, "Kim Kardashian Superstar."
Both Kris and the SKIMS founder denied the allegations under oath; however, King is adamant that they both lied in the court.
The mother of six claimed she did not partake in the "commercial exploitation" of her daughter through the sex tape, calling it “absolutely false” even if Ray J and anyone else insists on her involvement.
King urged Hirsch could confirm Kim’s and Kris’ roles in releasing the tape in 2007 with a warning for Kim about becoming subject to criminal perjury prosecution if she does not refrain from making false sworn statements.
In declarations filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, the 70-year-old said, "As a mother, the notion that I orchestrated or produced sex tapes involving my daughter, or was in any way involved in the creation or distribution of any sex tapes, is not only entirely untrue but deeply offensive and harmful and has haunted me for decades."
"I was absolutely heartbroken, crushed and devastated as a mother to see my daughter in this situation where her most intimate and private moments were exposed to the world,” Kris concluded.
