Ramsey Elkholy's Epstein connection continues to haunt former modelling agent

Ramsey Elkholy, whose name appeared in Epstein files in connection with recruiting models for the late sex offender, continues to face public scrutiny months after expressing regret over his actions.

The former modelling agent introduced women as young as 18 to Jeffrey Epstein and pleaded with him to have sex with a model he knew.

Elkholy sent the financier hundreds of emails over almost a decade, discussing the women’s bodies and their attitudes toward sex, and suggested he and Epstein could meet more women by investing in fashion and modelling businesses in Brazil.

In one 2011 exchange, Elkholy described a woman in her 20s who was “desperate for cash” and said: “Dear Jeffrey PLEASE just try her in bed.”

In an interview with the BBC,  Elkholy said he regretted the language in some emails and his association with Epstein. 

He claimed he had not been aware that Epstein was abusing women. Elkholy worked as a modelling agent in the 2010s. 

He now introduces himself as a musician and founder of the band Monotronic.

After feeling the storm had passed, he recently became active on Instagram again, but was quickly met with harsh criticism from the public.

The backlash intensified to the point that Elkholy had to limit comments on his band’s Instagram account.

Hundreds of people have questioned why US authorities have not taken action against him, despite his name appearing repeatedly in the Epstein files.

Commenting on Ramsey Elkholy links to Epstein, a social media user wrote, "the dude is just living life and has a band and is still active on Instagram and stuff. This guy needs to be looked into for real."

Referring to Elkholy's communication with Jeffrey Epstein, another user said, "In one email he talks about a girl being a 'sex machine' and the other asks JE to 'break down the goody two shoe'."
