PMDC to create question bank to address complaints about MDCAT questions
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has decided to create a question bank to address complaints related to MDCAT questions.
Talking to The News exclusively, PMDC President Prof Dr Rizwan Taj said complaints about easy and difficult questions had come to the fore in the MDCAT conducted under the four provinces. Therefore, to address this complaint, the PMDC has started preparing a question bank with the help of experts, which will have a stock of 2,000 questions.
Then, he said, we will ask the provinces or their designated testing institutions to select questions for MDCAT from this question bank instead of from outside; thus, everyone will get equal opportunities. He said that this year, MDCAT will be conducted in October after the announcement of the results of Intermediate Part II Exams.
