Nation standing behind armed forces: PPP leader
MARDAN: Former federal minister and Pakistan People’s Party leader Khawaja Muhammad Khan Hoti said that the entire nation was standing behind the armed forces to defend the motherland in case of any misadventure by India.
“The entire nation is standing with the armed forces in the current situation,” he added while speaking at a news conference here. Khawaja Hoti said that Pakistan was our country and all the nation should stand with the army. He said that the release of the founder of PTI was an internal matter and it was not right to link it to the honour and dignity of the country.
He said that several national leaders endured hardships of imprisonment but when it came to the country and the nation, personal affiliation or political differences had no meaning. He said that the first priority of all of us was Pakistan and the entire nation was united to defend it. Khawaja Hoti said that the Pahalgam incident was a drama of India, on which false propaganda was being made against Pakistan. He added that the Pahalgam attack was a false flag operation.
He said that Pakistan should give a befitting response to Indian propaganda so that the enemy would receive a clear message that no aggression or conspiracy against the beloved homeland would be tolerated. Khawaja Hoti appreciated the bold stance taken in the meeting on national security by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. He added that to declare Pakistan a terrorist state in the past India had conducted so-called flag operations.
