KP govt notifies upgradation of cops

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has notified the upgradation of police personnel after which cops from constable to assistant sub-inspectors will get higher grades.
According to a notification issued by the Finance Department, the upgradation of police personnel will take place from January 3, 2018, while the arrears of police personnel would be paid along with their salary in 36 months. The notification said that the constable had been upgraded to grade 7, the head constable to Scale 9 and the assistant sub-inspector to Scale 11. Earlier, the constable’s scale was five, the head constable’s scale was 7 and the assistant sub-inspector scale was 9.
