King Charles and Queen Camilla marked a special visit to The Warehouse in Newtownards.

Known for its wide-ranging assistance to people in need, the charity provides free food supplies, hot meals, skills-based workshops, and access to clothing and household essentials.

The official Instagram handle of the British royal family posted a video clip from the King and Queen's visit.

Details in the caption read, "Food waste can be delicious too!"

"An inspiring visit to The Warehouse in Newtownards to see the welcoming hub they provide to the community at times of need," it added. "The charity offers free food supplies, hot meals, skills classes and access to clothing and household essentials."

The caption continued, "The King joined volunteers in the kitchen as they prepared chocolate cake using surplus ingredients."

"Meanwhile, The Queen heard about creative projects, including a popular ‘Blind Date with a Book’ initiative," the caption concluded.

Notably, the video also showed the King and Queen cutting the cake which featured "The Warehouse in Newtownards" written over it along with "Here to trip."
