Prince William issues a personal statement after Aston Villa won Europa League
Prince William, the Prince of Wales posted a celebratory message after Aston Villa's European final in Türkiye.
On Thursday, William, who attended the final match in Turkiye, posted a video clip along with a personal message.
In the caption, the future King stated, "What a night. Thank you to Turkey for hosting a great final."
Adding, "Incredible atmosphere and great sportsmanship from Freiburg. Enjoy the parade, Birmingham."
Signing off with his initial "W." Notably, the video clip was captured by the Prince himself from the game.

"it is Türkiye not turkey," another added. The third noted, "Not Turkey, Türkiye pleaseeeee."
The Prince of Wales known as a passionate Aston Villa supporter also shared a message ahead of the final. Wishing the team good luck, Prince William stated, "Come on Villa! Good luck in tonight’s Europa League final. UTV!"
