LAHORE : A total of 39 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) were promoted to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP).

The Punjab Police issued a formal notification confirming the promotions, marking a crucial step in their career advancement. Among the officers elevated to SP rank were DSP Traffic officers Riaz Ahmed, Shahid Rashid, Sajid Mahmood, Yousaf Haroon, Fawad Ahmed, Munir Badar, Shafqat Nadeem, Kashif Abdullah, Ramiz Ahmed, Razaullah, Ali Akhtar, Shahid Shafiq, Aamir Mushtaq, Shahid Nazir, Jan Muhammad, Muhammad Khan, Irfan-ul-Haq, Babar Mumtaz, Saeed Ahmed, Mansoor-ul-Hassan, Akhtar Ali, Atif Imran, Muhammad Saleem, Fayyaz Ahmed, Jamshed Iqbal, Muhammad Tariq, Hassan Farooq, Nasrullah Khan, Khalid Saeed, Zafar Javed, Shahid Ikram, Asr Ali, Ghazi Muhammad Umar Farooq, Zulfiqar Ali, Mudassar Iqbal, Humayun Iftikhar, Moazzam Ali, Salimullah, and Adil Rashid. A spokesperson for the Punjab Police confirmed that the next meeting of the Promotion Board, which will focus on promotions to the post of SP in the Crime Control Dept and other units, is scheduled to take place after Eid.
