Meghan Markle has apparently offered an olive branch to her father-in-law King Charles as she marked the eighth wedding anniversary with husband Prince Harry.

Meghan and Harry tied the knot in Windsor on 19 May 2018, and have since welcomed two children; Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

To celebrate the big day, Meghan took to Instagram and shared several photos from her wedding day as she and Harry taking centre stage on the dance floor during the wedding reception.

In a separate post, Meghan shared a carousel of snaps from the ceremony held at Windsor Castle, including one of the newlyweds sharing a tender moment after their nuptials, and another behind-the-scenes photo of the pair having their official wedding portrait taken.

The Duchess posted the photos with caption, “Eight years ago today.”

In one of the photos, Meghan’s father-in-law King Charles is also seen.

Fans have started speculating that the Duchess has apparently extended an olive branch to the monarch by sharing his photo amid ongoing family feud.

It is to be mentioned here that when Meghan’s father Thomas Markle pulled out of the royal wedding, King Charles stepped in with a touching offer to walk her down the aisle.

Since Meghan and Harry’s wedding day, much has changed for the royal couple, from welcoming their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to stepping back from their royal duties and relocating to California.

Along the way, their relationships with King Charles, Prince William and Kate have become increasingly strained.

Meanwhile, the monarch has not yet publicly sent any message to Harry and Meghan, who are currently non-working royals, on their wedding anniversary.
