Nicholas Galitzine on playing He-Man in 'Masters of the Universe': 'It's surreal'
'Masters of the Universe' is set to release in cinemas on June 5, 2026
Nicholas Galitzine has finally revealed how he felt when he was offered a role in Masters of the Universe.
The highly anticipated film features Galitzine as the most powerful man in the universe.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of the movie, the 31-year-old actor shared his feelings about portraying He-Man.
“It is surreal. I was just telling," Nicholas told the outlet. "The guys, I remember coming out here exactly where we’re standing as a 20-year-old you know when I’d come out here for pilot season and I’d stay here for three months and sleep on people’s couches.”
“I thought If I could ever have a movie here that would be pretty amazing and so it’s very pinch me. But I’m trying to sort of soak it all in," added the star.
Along with Galitzine, the film's other star-studded cast includes Idris Elba, Jared Leto, Camila Mendes and Alison Brie.
Masters of the Universe is set to release in cinemas on June 5, 2026.
Recently, in an interview with Empire magazine, Nicholas admitted that achieving He-Man’s physique was an “extremely daunting” task.
“I think anyone seeing that iconic physique would find it extremely daunting,” the British actor said.
