ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Asad Qaiser Friday held a telephonic conversation with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on the country’s political situation.
Former National Assembly speaker Asad Qaiser reached out to Maulana Fazlur Rehman and during the conversation, they exchanged views on the current political scenario and deliberated on their upcoming meeting.
In a statement, Asad Qaiser stated that he would meet Maulana Fazlur Rehman next week to discuss political matters in detail. They are expected to meet on Monday or Tuesday to discuss the possibility of the formation of an opposition alliance. A message from PTI founder Imran Khan is also to be conveyed to Maulana Fazlur Rehman concerning a working relationship.
