Zehri AC survives bomb attack
Officials say unknown people tried to target vehicle of AC Zehri Tehsel in Showki area of Zehri
QUETTA: In another bomb attack that took place in Zehri area of Khuzdar district, the assistant commissioner survived.
Officials said that the unknown people tried to target the vehicle of the assistant commissioner Zehri Tehsel in the Showki area of Zehri. He was coming back to Zehri after visiting the area when an IED was detonated with remote control.
However, officials said, “The AC remained unhurt who was traveling in the official's vehicle.” Soon after the blast, security forces rushed to the site and started a search operation.
Two days back around 100 armed men entered the Zehri Tehsil and after overpawing the levies force in the small town took the control of the area during which they attacked government offices and burnt them which include Levies force station, Municipal committee offices, Nadra office and a private bank.
The armed men remained in the area for around 8 hours. However, they left the area in the evening when security forces reached the area.
