The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has allowed the IBA Sukkur to have four MCQ options for the new Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT).
The registrar of the PMDC has said in a reply letter to the IBA Sukkur that the PMDC agrees to have a uniform, single version of the test paper across the province; however, it is suggested to prepare the paper with different codes for the sake of standardization, as practised in other provinces/regions of the country.
The letter further said the PMDC does not have objection to each MCQ having four options synched with the OMR answer sheet. This has also been practicsed in other provinces. Regarding guidance on other queries, the IBA University may peruse and follow the MDCAT curriculum and PMDC Notification dated 04-08-20-24.
