Advanced training would bring about a positive change to deal with any untoward situation, said DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr Maqsood Ahmed during a Special Security Unit (SSU) passing-out parade.
Officials said a ceremony was held at the SSU Headquarters to honour 40 commandos who passed out from the Naval Special Operations Training Centre (NSOTC). This event celebrated the dedication and commitment of the commandos who successfully completed an intensive eight-week counterterrorism course.
DIG Ahmed addressed the personnel, commending the commandos for their hard work and resilience. “Today, we celebrate not just the completion of rigorous training, but the spirit of these brave individuals who stand ready to protect our nation, advance training delivered to SSU commandos would bring a positive change in their capabilities to deal with untoward situations,” he stated.
DIG Ahmed also pinned badges onto the commandos, symbolizing their successful course completion. Additionally, he presented shields to the top-performing commandos, recognizing their exceptional achievements and dedication throughout the training.
