Suspect involved in attack on TikToker arrested

LAHORE:Punjab police special operations cell has arrested a man involved in attacking TikToker Samina in Gujranwala.

Accused Sultan Ahmed was arrested from Sialkot Airport when he was attempting to flee abroad. With the help of the FIA, the accused was apprehended. A spokesperson for Punjab police said the accused is the real brother of the complainant. He was attempting to escape to Oman from Sialkot Airport.

Police had included the accused’s details in the PNIL (Provincial National Identification list). The spokesperson said Sultan Ahmed had carried out a deadly attack on TikToker Samina last month in Qila Didar Singh area of Gujranwala. An FIR regarding the incident was registered at the Qila Didar Singh police station. IG Dr Usman Anwar appreciated Gujranwala RPO and CPO for their successful action.
