Senior-most judge to become CJP: Hamid Khan

LAHORE: Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Hamid Khan has said only the senior most judge of Supreme Court will become the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
Talking to media on Wednesday, Hamid said no judge except Justice Mansoor Ali Shah was acceptable. He said the proposed national convention being held today (Thursday) was to reject the proposed constitutional amendment. He stated the lawyers community only believed in the Supreme Court and it would not let anybody weaken this institution.
