Man, son killed over land dispute

MANSEHRA: A man and his son were killed over the land dispute in the Shinkiari area here on Thursday.

Mohammad Latif and his son Mohammad Shakeel were ploughing a disputed piece of agricultural land when a group of armed men opened fire on them, leaving both of them seriously injured.

Locals shifted them to the civil hospital in Shinkiari where doctors pronounced both of them dead.The bodies were handed over to the family following doctors after completing the medico-legal formalities.The police after lodging the FIR started raids to arrest the accused who managed to flee following the incident.
