Army Jawan martyred in NWA operation; body brought to Khairpur for burial

SUKKUR: A army soldier from Khairpur embraced martyrdom in North Waziristan (NW) operation. Reports said Army Jawan of the 28 Sindh Regiment, belonging to village Ariz Muhammad Gillal of Sobhdero Taluka of Khairpur, Asif Ali Bhatti, son of Ghulam Ali Bhatti, embraced martyrdom in North Waziristan. Brigadier Shahid, Lt Colonel Usman, Captain Tahir Naqqash and Major Qasim brought his body from the CMH Peshawar to Khairpur and attended funeral rites. They paid rich tributes to the martyred Jawan and handed over Pakistan flag, army uniform and other articles of the martyred youth to his father. Later they placed a floral wreath on the grave on behalf of the Chief of the Army Staff and conveyed his message to the family.
