NBP celebrates Independence Day with patriotic fervour
KARACHI: The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) marked the 77th Independence Day with vibrant celebrations and patriotic zeal. The festivities, held at the bank’s headquarters, included a ceremonial flag hoisting and a cake-cutting event attended by the bank’s executives, employees, and their families.
While honouring Pakistan’s Independence Day, the NBP expressed its deep pride in the nation’s progress and its ongoing commitment to contributing to the country’s development. The bank reaffirmed its dedication to advancing economic and social growth in the country, highlighting its role as a key player in the nation’s prosperity.
The celebration was further enhanced by the NBP’s acknowledgment of Arshad Nadeem’s historic achievement at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Nadeem won a gold medal with a record-breaking javelin throw, and the NBP joined the nation in celebrating his remarkable success.
President of NBP Rehmat Ali Hasnie addressed the gathering, saying, “As we commemorate Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day today, we celebrate the resilience and spirit of our nation. The sacrifices of our forefathers have laid a strong foundation for a prosperous Pakistan.”
Hasnie continued, “The NBP is honoured to be part of this journey. We are committed to supporting the nation through fostering economic growth, creating opportunities, and bolstering our communities.”
With a rich history of serving the country, the NBP remains a leading financial institution dedicated to the growth and development of Pakistan. The bank continues to uplift communities, empower businesses, and contribute significantly to the nation's progress.
