Edward James Olmos revealed how he feels about reuniting with Jennifer Lopez.

After playing the actress and singer's on-screen dad in Selena, nearly 30 years ago, the actor admitted he feels "very happy" to reunite with JLo in Office Romance.

During his conversation with People Magazine, Olmos shared what it was like being asked to work with her again. He said, "Very happy. Very surprised, very happy. I said, 'Of course. It would be my honor'."

"I hadn't read the script, no. They just asked me if I want to be a part of it. I said, 'Of course. Anything she needs,'" he added.

Recalling that Lopez also played the younger version of his character's mother in Mi Familia, the 1995 film, Olmos said, "Then in Selena, I played her father, and again here I play her father again. No, we're family. All the way."

It is pertinent to mention that Jennifer Lopez also gushed over Edward James Olmos during an interview earlier. She said, "I'll tell you what happened. We were standing on the carpet just a few minutes ago."

Adding, "I was standing with him, and I remember taking the cast photo with Selena and I said, ‘Oh my God, do you remember when we did this years ago?' and he goes ‘I remember it well!'"

"I was like, ‘And here we are.' He's like, ‘Here we are.' He's like, ‘I'm so proud to be here with you.' I said, ‘I love you so much, thank you,'" the actress said.
