Harry Hamlin feels immense pride in daughters' career choices
Harry Hamlin shares his two daughters, Delilah and Amelia, with his wife, Lisa Rinna
Harry Hamlin is filled with pride over his daughters Delilah and Amelia’s decision to find their own ways in their respective careers.
For those unaware, the 74-year-old American actor, author, and entrepreneur is the father of three children. He welcomed Delilah and Amelia with his wife, Lisa Rinna, and his son Dimitri with his ex-Ursula Andress.
At the Gotham Ball in New York City on May 14, Harry reflected on his daughters’ respective modelling careers, admitting to PEOPLE magazine that he “is so proud of my kids, because they did this on their own."
He added, "We never said, 'You should do this, you might do this,' whatever. They decided to pursue their careers on their own, and they never asked us for any help.”
"We did give them some help, but they never asked, you know? They're on their own now, which is amazing. And when your kids stop asking for money, that's a good moment in your life," the Clash of the Titans star noted.
Harry went on to share that he avoids giving “unsolicited advice" to Delilah and Amelia.
"If they ask me for advice, I'll give it to them. But they give me advice. They inspire me,” the proud father of his daughters confessed.
It is pertinent to mention that both Delilah and Amelia also appeared along with their parents on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Harry Loves Lisa, following their parents’ footsteps.
