Couple appeared in the court along with their lawyers in the Adiala Jail
ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Ali Warraich on Monday postponed the hearing of a 190 million pounds reference against PTI founder Imran Khan and his spouse Bushra Bibi till July 26.
The couple appeared in the court along with their lawyers in the Adiala Jail. Bushra’s lawyer completed the cross-examination on the statements of Parvez Khattak and Zubaidah Jalal. Khattak added to his statement that the cabinet approved the agenda without reading it on the insistence of the PTI founder. He said Imran had forbidden discussion on the 190 million pounds scandal. He also filed a request to make Monday’s statement part of his written statement.
During the hearing, the statement of NAB witness Deputy Director Umair Rather was also recorded, after which the court adjourned the hearing till July 26. A total of 34 witnesses’ statements have been recorded in the reference.
