Man arrested for harassing girl
LAHORE:The Virtual Women Police Station arrested a suspect accused of harassing and attempting to assault a girl on Monday. An elderly hostel warden tried to harass and assault a student when she was alone in her room in a hostel in the locality of Thokar Niaz Baig. He fled the scene when the girl raised a hue and cry. When contacted, the Virtual Women Police Station dispatched cops who arrested the suspect.
14 die in Punjab road accidents
The Emergency Services Department (ESD) responded to 1,168 road traffic accidents in all districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. In these accidents, 14 people died, whereas 1,243 were injured. Out of these, 550 people with serious injuries were shifted to different hospitals, while 693 victims with minor injuries were treated at the incident site.
