There’s a lot going on behind the scenes with the Sussexes and it appears Kate Middleton is feeling the effect of too much forgiveness too fast.

The entire thing has been explained by a well placed source and according to their findings, the issue is that Kate feels she’s gone above and beyond, especially when she was navigating a tough personal woe of her own, however, King Charles’ bid to let bygones be bygones is rubbing her the wrong way, and is starting to feel like a betrayal by her father-in-law.

A well placed source explained all this during their interview with RadarOnline.

According to their findings, “Catherine's view is that reconciliation has to be earned, not assumed.”

In her view “there were allegations and deeply personal comments made in public that had a profound impact, not only on individuals but on the wider family.”

Another thing is that, to Kate specifically “those kinds of wounds don't disappear because enough time has passed.” Plus trust has to be “rebuilt gradually,” and “that is a process measured in actions rather than gestures.” So “she is basically feeling utterly betrayed by Charles after her years of loyalty.”

As for her personal dedication to the monarchy, they say, “she never sought recognition for it, but Catherine stepped into a far more demanding role as the institution adapted to Harry and Meghan's exit. She accepted additional duties without complaint and became an even more central figure within the Royal Family.”

Before concluding the same insider also said, “that's why any talk of repairing relationships is particularly delicate. There is a feeling that the commitment shown by those who stayed should not be overshadowed or taken for granted.”
