Major Babar laid to rest

RAWALPINDI: Major Babar Niazi, who embraced Shahadat in an intelligence-based operation against terrorists in Zhob, was laid to rest with full military honours in Mianwali on Wednesday.

Namaz-e-Janazah of the Shaheed officer was attended by serving and retired officers and Jawans of the Pakistan Army and the Pakistan Air Force, his relatives and others.

Earlier, Namaz-e-Janazah of Babar was also offered in Zhob before shifting his Jasd-e-Khaki to Mianwali.

The ISPR, in a statement, said the war against terrorism would continue with the same resolve.
