Rawalpindi: The ‘Industry-Oriented three-day intensive workshop on Web 3.0 & Blockchain’ and ‘Empowering Tomorrow’s IT Professionals through Hands-on Training’ concluded at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi (PMAS-AAUR), here on Tuesday.
The workshop was organised by PMAS-AAUR University Institute of Information Technology (UIIT) in collaboration with Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) PMAS-AAUR. Highly reputed and renowned practitioners from different prestigious IT companies participated in this workshop, bringing their experience in state-of-the-art paradigms including Blockchain & Web 3.0, Mobile Application Development, Microsoft Azure DevOps, React, Redux & Django, Web Development & Micro service Architecture.
The undergraduate and graduate students joined the workshop physically and conducted hands-on sessions to enhance their skills. At the concluding session, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem, Vice Chancellor PMAS-AAUR was the chief guest while Prof. Dr. Khalid Saifullah Khan, Director ORIC, Mr. Muhammad Aqeel Sultan (Registrar), and other principal officers of the university shared their insights with the participants.
AIOU to close admissions today
Islamabad: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will close its admissions for the Semester Spring, 2024 today (Wednesday). The admission forms, prospectus and other details about offered programs are available on the university website aiou.edu.pk, said a press release on Tuesday. The students can either visit the nearest regional office or call the university’s helpline 051-111 112 468 for any information.
