ISLAMABAD: Sadat Club lifted the Team Trophy while Ch Mukhtar Gujar of Royal Club won the individual category of Tent Pegging competition that concluded in Bahria Town Riding Gala here Monday.
Sadat Club comprising Ch Usman Asghar Gujar, Zahid Mehmood Gujar, Ch Muhammad Rabbani and Raja Faizan Ahmed clinched first prize and a cash award of Rs100,000. Mohammadi Haidri Ittehad Club bagged the second prize in the team event. The team consisted of Malik Irfan, Mian Abdul Ilahi, Malik Hasan Watto and Ch Sakhi Ranja.
Besides runners-up trophies, the team was also awarded Rs60,000 cash award. Al-Noor Club grabbed the third position. Ch Fawad Younis, Ch Arsalan, Ch Tauqir and Ch Iqbal formed the team. The third position holders were also given trophies and cash incentives. In the individual category, Ch Mukhtar Gujar left Ch Fawad Younis (Al-Noor Club Jhelum) behind to second place.
