ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's under-14 team has left here for Kuching (Malaysia) to participate in the World Junior Tennis Qualifying round starting from March 25-30.
Pakistan has been placed directly into the qualifying round following their exceptional performance last year which saw them making it to the final and earning a place in the World Group. Last year Pakistan were beaten in the final only getting defeated by Japan with both teams earning a place in the World Group.
Pakistan has a strong chances of making it to the final this time around also and earning a place in the World Group.
Besides Pakistan, fifteen other teams are also competing for the two top spots.
Some leading teams in the competition include China, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea and Chinese Taipei.
