Two arrested for throwing acid on teacher

LAHORE Two accused, who had thrown acid on the face of a schoolteacher in the Shahdara Town area two days ago, were arrested. The police signaled two motorcycle riders to stop for checking at Kala Khatai T-point, on which they opened fire on the police team.

The police retaliated and the two accused, who were later identified as Yasir and Naveed, were injured. The police arrested them and rushed them to hospital. The accused had thrown acid on the schoolteacher two days ago.
