PTI extends olive branch to PPP, ANP
PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Saturday took a unique turn when it asked the leadership of
Pakistan People’s Party and Awami National Party should to talk to the
PTI leadership to jointly accomplish the former’s agenda.
“The agenda of PPP and ANP and PTI is the same, therefore, we should sit and discuss the possibilities of alliance,” Muazzam Butt advocate, the spokesperson for the PTI, said in a statement.
He said that both parties should shake hands with the PTI in the political arena to launch a
joint struggle for accomplishment of the agenda proposed by the PPP
and ANP.
The statements of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, he added, were paving the way for a political alliance, which would be a good omen for the nourishment of democracy.
“If PPP and ANP offer to form an alliance, we are ready for the same, “ the spokesperson said, adding that joint strategy of political parties would prove beneficial for people, democracy, rule of law and the country.
