Fake news lands man in jail

KHAR: The police on Sunday arrested a man from Tali area in Salarzai tehsil in Bajaur tribal district for posting fake news on social media.
It was learnt that one Mohammad Gulab uploaded a post on his social media account, claiming that a British woman had arrived at Salarzai to meet her friend. This prompted the local police to reach the area in a bid to provide security to the woman, however, on arrival at Tali, the police came to know that it was fake news.
