Kate Middleton 'caught between a rock and a hard place' amid Prince William, Harry rift

Princess of Wales Kate Middleton is ‘caught between a rock and a hard place’ as her husband Prince William has reportedly banned her from contacting Prince Harry.

According to a report by the Heat World, Kate Middleton still has a soft spot for her brother-in-law Harry, who is making efforts for reconciliation with the family.

However, the reason for Kate’s silence, is her loyalty to William, who the source says will not accept her ‘extending any sort of olive branch’ to the Duke.

Prince William, who is reportedly not on speaking terms with Harry, still fears that any conversation between Kate and Harry could be ‘leveraged in some way’ in the future.

Amid these claims, the royal sources said, “Kate is caught between a rock and a hard place because, at the end of the day, Harry is still her brother-in-law and someone she really cares about, but there’s just no scenario where she can insert herself into this without causing her husband a great deal of anguish.

“The reality is she has to side with him [William]. He’s her partner in life and she simply would never go against his wishes.”

"She has to think of her husband first and he’s been very clear that under no circumstances will he accept her extending any sort of olive branch to his brother,” the source said. “He’s convinced it would be seized upon and leveraged in some way by Harry and Meghan. Plus, it would totally undermine his position.”
