Prince William faces the most ‘daunting’ time yet with Kate since her cancer diagnosis
Prince William and Kate Middleton are in line to face something monumental in their life for the first time ever
Kate Middleton and Prince William have come to a point in their lives where the most ‘daunting’ time is upon them, and it involves their oldest child who is set to inherit the throne from his father and grandfather when he grows.
The source that brought this all to light sat down with New Idea when making the verdict.
According to them, this time is not only daunting for the couple who have never been away from their children overnight, but is also a “huge milestone” in terms of Prince George’s growth.
Moreover, with his birthday approaching on July 22nd, he will be turning 13 and will enter Eton College, the alma mater of his father.
So “this is a massive step for George,” the insider admitted while speaking to New Idea. “He’s hardly spent a night away from home, and now he’ll be living at Eton for most of the term.”
However, “it’s just down the road [from Windsor] so home won’t be far away, but it’s still pretty daunting.”
Over all William and Kate are said to have been doing everything in their power to prepare him as best they can without the added pressure, but it is ‘immense’ because in truth “he has so much to live up to,” as they liked to put it.
An instance of this was visible during his time at Wimbledon because “you could see at Wimbledon that he’s still quite nervous in the spotlight, and school is only going to bring a whole new level of attention because every boy there will know exactly who he is.”
As heir and future King there’s a “huge weight of expectation on his shoulders,” they noted before adding, “and that’s only going to grow as he gets older.”
Moreover, his younger siblings will be in their respective primary school so he will transition alone so It’s being dubbed “nerve-racking” on many levels for William and Kate. After all, “they can’t help but worry about how he will cope with it all. It’s also a huge milestone for them; their first child is leaving home.” But simultaneously “It’s a big reminder of how quickly it’s all going by; before they know it they’ll be empty nesters,” they added before signing off.
