you & me

Pretty and petite, Reesham is a multi-talented girl. She appeared in a commercial as a child star when she was only eight. “A teacher of mine saw that I was quite confident and pretty vocal about my views so she introduced me to an advertising agency named Publicis that was owned by her husband. I have done commercials here and there including Djuice, Sunsip, Bake Parlour, Peek Freans, Maggie etc,” says Reesham who started her career as RJ in 2000 when she was only 10 years old. She also did few live shows for PTV and other private channels as a teenager. Throughout her academic life, she was actively involved in theatre and stage plays. Her theatre play ‘Toba Tek Singh’ won her best actress at All Pakistan theatre festival, 2005. She did two years in theatre, film and television from BNU (Beacon House National University).

Born and raised in Lahore, Resham moved to Karachi after she got married in 2012. She also did a one year diploma course from Indus Valley in theatre, film and television in 2013. According to Reesham, “I have been blessed in the sense that I have a very supportive family. My father used to take time off from business and accompany me at my shoots. Then my husband has been my strength.” Let’s see what are the likes and dislikes of this very adorable girl...
