By the way, ‘The Eid engagement and other weddings’ has been missing for some time from Us. I was hoping to see some development since very soon we will have Eid!

Feedback

Hey Ed,

I really miss paintings and drawings on the back page. There were so many Us artists like Andaleeb and Hamid Gulistan. But now, I rarely see any original drawing. Please bring back that art work.

Dear Editor,

It was a pleasure to read the interview of Muhammad Omar Iftikhar by Maham Syedain in the edition of April 16. I have read many articles by Omar and he is a versatile writer. I hope to read the book after Ramazan, and wish Omar good luck!

Hey Ed,

The queen is back! It was great to read the first episode of ‘Turn’ by Saniyyah Eman. What a great writer this girl is! And also so big hearted! Not many writers praise the works of other writers but Saniyyah is very generous this way. I am looking forward to reading the second episode.

Salam Editor,

‘Recipes’ page is an interesting addition to the magazine. I have an idea: what about collecting recipes from different communities living in our society? And adding some history of their food will also make it an informative read.

“The Green Room” was also a quick read! At a glance, you would know what movies were released during the week. I hope you are going to continue publishing that entertainment page in the future.

Reflection

Narrated Anas bin Malik (R.A):

The Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) fell down from a horse and his right side was grazed. We went to him to inquire after his health when the time of prayer came. He led us in prayer in a sitting posture and we said prayer behind him sitting, and when he finished the prayer he said: The Imam is appointed only to be followed; so when he recites takbir, you should also recite that; when he prostrates, you should also prostrate; when he rises up, you should also rise up, and when he said “God listens to him who praises Him,” you should say: “Our Lord, to Thee be the praise,” and when he prays sitting, all of you should pray sitting.
