Query
Hi Ed,
I am a huge fan of your magazine. How do I submit my poems and is there any criterion?

Feedback
Dear Ed,
Thanks a million for publishing my write-up, Overcoming Negative Self-Talk. I'm so delighted to see my name in Us.
Also, I simply love the episodic stories by both Iqra Asad and Saniyyah Eman. The fluidity and flexibility of language is captivating. But I agree with Zyan Ahmed here that the episodes of Violet Vipers need to be numbered for sake of clarity.
Ed, I want to draw your kind attention to a few things. First, consider adding date on every page of Us so that if we save an image of a page, we can know when it was published. Second, same narrations are being re-published, maybe because of their importance or authenticity. Third, tell the admin to update FB page of Us.
Thank you for making us learn and enjoy together.

Opinion
Literature is an invaluable asset for the youth
There is great power in the written word. What happens when you are detached from literature? The perspective of the youth remains shallow! Pakistani youth has to face a tough competition in the international market, and literature is one thing which will teach them essential life skills.

Hello Editor,
The excerpt section “Protecting the village” was quite informative. With increasing challenges in protecting our youth, the survival signs sounded relevant.
And it’s not just that the children or youth are the most vulnerable, we all are and therefore we all should keep an eye out for predators all the time. Especially at places like parks, malls, weddings, by just staying vigilant you can save others’ lives as well.

Hi Eddy,
“Protecting the village” was very useful. I think it’s a great idea to publish excerpts from the books; this way we will be able to find some good recommendations.

Reflection
Narrated by Abu Said Al-Khudri
Allah’s Apostle (S.A.W) said, “When the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell, they will be stopped at a bridge in between Hell and Paradise where they will retaliate upon each other for the injustices done among them in the world, and when they get purified of all their sins, they will be admitted into Paradise. By Him in Whose Hands the life of Muhammad is everybody will recognize his dwelling in Paradise better than he recognizes his dwelling in this world.”
