A whole lot of original films and television series, as well as plenty of comedies and classics are coming to Netflix next month.

Radhika Apte, Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Sacred Games.

July is just a few days away and there is a long list of TV shows and movies that are coming to Netflix. From movies to TV shows, Netflix will definitely keep you hooked this July. While you’ll see new seasons of a few shows, be ready to bid farewell to Bring It On and Lethal Weapons films.

Here are some of the classic favourites, plus new original movies and TV shows the streaming service is bringing forward next month.

As far as movies are concerned, July 1st will see the classic, Happy Gilmore land on the streaming service. This is one of Adam Sandler’s best movies in which the actor essays the role of a former hockey player who picks up golf, but his aggressive behaviour doesn’t fit well with the more subdued and calm sport.

Apart from this, you will get to watch the high-camp 1994 gothic horror-drama, Interview with the Vampire. Directed by Neil Jordan, the film features Tom Cruise as the devious Lestat, while Brad Pitt channels his early ’90s pretty-boy angst as the eternally bummed-out vampire Louis.

Another film to look out for is Steven Spielberg’s classic adventure, Jurassic Park. While its sequels may have become erratic and ludicrous, you can’t beat the original; its special effects are still magnificent 25 years later. Moreover, you can stream from films such as Blue Valentine, starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams and the Netflix original, The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter, which is directed by Jody Hill and stars Danny McBride and Josh Brolin as legendary hunter Buck Ferguson. Also, this July watch out for Spanglish, Scream 4, An Education and Ben Affleck’s directorial debut Gone Baby Gone among others.

Coming to TV shows, here is what’s arriving on Netflix. Season 1 of The Sinner is perfect for a Netflix marathon. It is a creepy drama about a woman who murders a man on a beach without knowing why she did it. Also, the eighth season of Shameless is coming to Netflix so you can binge on that and catch up with the wacky adventures of the Gallagher clan and all their trials and tribulations.

This is not all! Netflix has been investing heavily in material that caters to foreign audiences, and Sacred Games marks a huge moment – the streaming giant’s first Indian original series, starring Bollywood veteran Saif Ali Khan and the talented Nawazuddin Siddiqui, whom Western audiences saw this year in AMC’s McMafia.

Not to forget, the sixth season of Orange is the New Black, is coming to Netflix along with Japanese reality series, Terrace House: Opening New Doors, Part 3.
