The Royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markel on Saturday caught almost everyone’s attention and was followed by numerous memes and trolls on social media, both positive and otherwise. Post the Royal wedding, Urwa Hocane took to social media and shared that the occasion reminded her of her wedding with Farhan Saeed last year.
She posted, “The #RoyalWedding of Meghan and Harry gave us butterflies. It reminded us of our own love story of #UrwaFarhan, which was crafted a year ago and was trending like wildfire on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram!”
This brought in severe criticism and trolling her way as people found the two weddings incomparable and poured in harsh remarks. While Urwa said in an interview that it doesn’t really bother her, in a recent turn of events, her sister Mawra Hocane took to Twitter in support of her.
“Royal or not, everyone’s wedding day is extraordinary for them (no one compared) and we must only show them Love!” she tweeted. “I usually don’t address the trolls but why would you mock your own for anyone else? Also trolling is so last year. Move on! #Royaldoublestandardsbypettytrolls”
This isn’t the first time Mawra has responded to trolls targeted at Urwa. She has come out in support of her sister earlier as well.
