Chad Lowe's daughter Fiona passed away on Tuesday, September 29
Fiona is remembered as a “sweet and kind” child after her death.
As the heartbreaking news of Chad Lowe's middle daughter's death broke out, the teen’s school and community gathered to pay a tribute to Fiona.
“The school and community are very inclusive, artistic, a warm place. Parents are friends and most are involved with the school. This is a devastating time for the community,” the insider told People magazine.
“The Lowe family is very involved and are at many school functions," the confidant continued. “Fiona was sweet, quiet and kind. Dance was her biggest passion, she had a very artistic soul."
“She was always kind to other students," a tipster added. "Many of her friends are out today grieving.”
Meanwhile, another source told Page Six that Chad's daughter was "very well-liked" in community.
“Fiona was a very well-liked student,” a source shared. “She had a lot of friends.”
Earlier this week, the Lowe family confirmed the passing of Fiona. She was 13.
“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona," the family said in a statement. "She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance."
“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives," the Lowe family continued. "Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time."
“If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988," the statement concluded.
