While it was announced earlier this year that Salman Khan will begin shooting for Dabangg 3 in March 2018, latest reports suggest that he has pushed the dates.
He has asked brother and producer of the film, Arbaaz Khan to put the shoot on hold as he has other projects lined up for the coming months.
Khan is currently busy shooting for the third installment of action thriller Race that comes out on Eid next year while he recently announced his new project, Bharat that is scheduled to release on Eid 2019.
“Race 3 will be completed in three months but Salman will then kick off Bharat, which is eyeing a 2019 Eid release,” a source close to the actor revealed to an Indian daily.
“Meanwhile, Salman is also working out the nitty gritties to take his Dabangg tour to Europe and a few Indian cities. So, for now, he has requested that Dabangg 3 be put on hold.”
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who also directed Khan’s latest release Tiger Zinda Hai that is doing wonders on the box office, Bharat is said to be a “human drama that is bound to strike a chord with the audience”, according to reports.
