2017 is truly becoming a landmark year for Ali Hamza who is constantly on the go these days. His days with Noori are far from over and the band is very much together but Hamza has also branched out as a solo artist and that progression is brilliant to watch.

Having made his debut as music director on Coke Studio 10, Hamza managed to score several hits during the season with ‘Tinak Dhin’ being a fan favourite. He also joined Ali Zafar, Bilal Maqsood and Faisal Kapadia on the single ‘Uss Rah Par’ as part of a moving tribute to the late Junaid Jamshed during the finale episode of the season.

While Coke Studio has come to a conclusion, a playful video presented by Patari that features Hamza and Ali Sethi singing dholki songs is presently finding positive traction online.

The singer-songwriter also participated in the recently concluded edition of TEDxITU in Lahore as a speaker and he’s not done just yet. Hamza’s most recent move has been the unveiling of a new logo that he states represents him. Hamza has also joined forces with Ink Factory to create a line of merchandise that includes mugs, keychains, mobile covers, notebooks, posters, frames and t-shirts. He launched the merchandise, which can be ordered online as well, in Lahore at the Ink Factory outlet recently and also sang tunes on the occasion. Look out for it online.
