Britney Spears's ex-manager Sam Lutfi urged fans to stop judging the popstar following her latest freeway stunt in Los Angeles that sparked concern online.

The 44-year-old pop star recently made headlines after she was photographed standing through the sunroof of a black Mercedes SUV while traveling on the busy 101 Freeway near Studio City on Wednesday.

Sam, who previously obtained two restraining orders against Britney, in 2008 and in 2019, respectively, requested people to show "compassion" for the pop star amid the recent incidents.

He told DailyMail, "Compassion is a better response than mockery.

"She's a human being before she's a celebrity."

The ex-manager continued, "People are very quick to judge, especially when it's Britney."

"Social media isn't someone's medical chart," Sam called out online critics, adding that he had no inclination "to diagnose [or] criticize" the singer-songwriter amid a spate of troublesome incidents occurred with Britney.

Britney also responded to the criticism via an Instagram post in which she shared an image of herself standing through the vehicle's sunroof and wrote, "Arching my back to the heavens to god trying to get back all the years I missed…"

The concerning stunt incident also caught the attention of local law enforcement, and it came in a second round, four months after she was arrested in a DUI case.

An insider told Naughty But Nice that authorities "wanted to send a very clear message that behavior like this is dangerous and can’t happen again.”

Back in March, Britney was arrested on suspicion of DUI on March 4 in California, for which she pleaded guilty to a reduced "wet reckless" driving charge.
