Married to each other in real life, actors Sarwat Gilani and Fahad Mirza have come together for an upcoming TV project, titled Do Dilon Ki Dharkan. Directed by Kashif Sabeen, it is a limited comedy series based on three episodes that will go on air tonight (Friday) and will run till Sunday.
Married to each other in real life, actors Sarwat Gilani and Fahad Mirza have come together for an upcoming TV project, titled Do Dilon Ki Dharkan. Directed by Kashif Sabeen, it is a limited comedy series based on three episodes that will go on air tonight (Friday) and will run till Sunday.
“It’s a story about a girl and a boy who fall in love with each other,” Sarwat Gilani told Instep. “But the girl’s phuppo who is a psychiatrist finds flaws in all boys that approach her and doesn’t let her get married to anyone. It’s a really cute story. The two individuals meet because of a misunderstanding and then try to make things work between them.”
Gilani also informed that she plays the role of an America-returned girl who resides with her phuppo (paternal aunt) while Fahad Mirza lives with his parents and looks after their family business.
Speaking about her experience of working with her husband Mirza, Gilani shared, “I liked working with Fahad a lot because the chemistry, the comfort and everything else came very naturally to us. We had lots of fun doing this together.”
