Mannan marked his presence on the local turf this year when he bagged two significant fashion awards at the Lux Style Awards this year for Achievement in Fashion Design for Bridal and Lawn.
His personal relationship to the Kapoor sisters is known to many in Pakistan and India, where the younger sister, Kareena, is the official brand ambassador for his brand. Earlier this year, Manan also opened the show for the Times of India Film Awards held in Dubai with Karisma Kapoor as his showstopper.
We weren’t surprised when Manan brought home the Designer of the Year award at Dubai’s coveted Masala Awards. It really is a commendable feat, considering that Manan was up against some of India’s biggest fashion designers, such as Manish Malhotra and Abu-Jani/Sandeep Khosla.
