To express solidarity with the Muslim community targeted in the Christchurch mosque attack, Jews all over New Zealand closed down their prayers areas, on Saturday, for the first time in history.
In the statement made by Jewish community of New Zealand it is stated that they stand alongside the Muslim community in these hard times and are ready to extend any kind of help to them.
The statement also affirms that Jews are with the Muslim community in this fight against racism and hatred. They also said that they are with the families who lost their loved ones in the Christchurch shooting.
